Acupuncture is recognized by the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the World Health Organization (WHO) to be effective in the treatment of a wide variety of medical problems. Below are some of the health concerns that acupuncture can effectively treat:
Allergies Chronic Pain (back, neck, shoulder, etc.) Neuropathy Migraines/Headaches Sciatica Arthritis Stress Disorders Fertility and Pregnancy Related issues
In Florida, your Acupuncture Physician holds a Masters or Doctorate Degree from a nationally certified school along with certifications in Chinese Herbs and APIT (Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy). Your Acupuncturist has passed national and state board exams and is required to keep up with continuing education requirements to keep an active license.
Acupuncture is extremely safe. It is an all-natural, drug-free therapy, yielding feelings of relaxation and well-being. Acupuncture needles (per Federal law) are sterile, used once, and then discarded.
We accept all insurances but not all insurances accept us. Insurance coverage varies from state to state. Contact your insurance provider to learn what kind of care is covered. Here are a few questions to ask:
Will my plan cover acupuncture? How many visits per calendar year? Do I need a referral? Does my plan only cover certain conditions?
Rates vary and depend upon what procedures are performed. Your Acupuncture Physician will go over this during your consultation so there are no surprises with costs.
